Tabi Quest is built to help travelers, not to harvest data. Here is what actually happens when you use it.
Your screenshots
- • When you tap Build my quest, your screenshots are sent to Google's Gemini API so it can read the route.
- • We do not store your screenshots on our servers. They are sent to Google, parsed, and discarded.
- • Google may retain content per their API terms; see their policy.
Your quest progress
- • Your in-flight quest is saved in your browser's localStorage so you can reload the page mid-station without losing your place.
- • It lives only on your phone, expires after 24 hours, and never leaves your device.
- • Clearing your browser data wipes it.
Analytics
- • We use Vercel Analytics to count anonymous page views — no cookies, no IP tracking, no personal identifiers.
- • This tells us if anyone is using the service. That is the extent of it.
No accounts, no third parties
- • No sign-up, no login, no email collection.
- • The only third party your screenshots reach is Google (for parsing).
- • Feedback goes to a Google Form when you choose to send it.
